THE MATERIAL GUIDE
The finish you imagine. The performance your part needs. Explore genuine Bambu Lab materials, then compare the right options with a project-specific quote.
GENUINE BAMBU LAB. EXCLUSIVELY.
Vertex 3D Engineering exclusively uses genuine Bambu Lab filament for our 3D printing services. We do not use generic third-party filament.
It is part of our commitment to consistent material quality, dependable printing and professional results. The right formulation is selected for the job—not just the appearance.
This is a selection guide, not a live inventory. Genuine variants, colors, printer compatibility and availability are confirmed with your quote. Original variants, regional options and discontinued products are clearly marked.
Vertex 3D Engineering is an independent printing service; this guide does not imply Bambu Lab endorsement.

A PLA with ingredient-level EU food-contact testing and low-emissions certification described by Bambu Lab.
A documented formulation for projects where ingredient and emissions information matters.
BEST USED FOREveryday objects and application-reviewed decorative models.
Ingredient testing and EN 71-3 testing do not certify a finished print as food-safe or a fully compliant toy. Equipment, processing and intended use must be evaluated; ventilation remains important.
PLA reinforced with carbon fiber for a stiffer, matte-textured print.
Higher stiffness and a low-gloss surface with reduced visible layer lines.
BEST USED FORRigid models, fit-check prototypes and non-hot functional fixtures.
PLA is not the default choice for substantial heat exposure. Decorative finishes do not automatically improve mechanical performance.

PETG durability with improved flow for efficient production.
BEST USED FORFunctional prototypes, brackets, enclosures and repeat everyday parts.
Bambu’s US store states PETG HF is discontinued and will not be restocked once sold out. Remaining regional stock may vary; current PETG Basic may be reviewed as an alternative.

Carbon-fiber-reinforced PETG with a rigid, matte-textured finish.
Increased stiffness and dimensional stability compared with unfilled PETG.
BEST USED FORRigid housings, functional fixtures and structural prototypes after review.
Moisture-resistant in service does not mean moisture-proof during storage: dry filament and application-specific review still matter. PETG is not automatically food-safe or heat-proof.

A harder TPU formulation specifically developed for compatible AMS feeding.
Resilient flexible performance with easier automated material handling.
BEST USED FORDurable protective accessories and firmer flexible components.
Lower Shore A values are softer. TPU for AMS is a harder formulation, not an assurance that every flexible TPU works in an AMS. Seals require fit, fluid and temperature review.
Premium engineering-grade options for demanding requirements. Strength, stiffness, dimensional stability and heat or chemical resistance vary significantly by polymer.

A specialized carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer for severe service environments.
High heat tolerance, chemical resistance and dimensional stability.
BEST USED FORChemical-exposure fixtures and high-temperature industrial parts after technical review.
Selection depends on the actual load, temperature, chemicals, geometry, print orientation and post-processing. No printed-part certification, flame rating or universal performance guarantee is implied.

Dissolves in water to help clear otherwise inaccessible supports.
BEST USED FORInternal cavities and complex support structures; compatibility is reviewed first.
Vertex generally selects the compatible support or interface during print preparation. Support checkboxes are discussion requests, not standalone customer printing-material options.
MATERIALS & YOUR QUOTE
Every project is different. Material costs vary depending on the filament selected, quantity required, print complexity, material performance requirements, and production time.
Standard materials such as PLA and PETG are generally more economical. Specialty materials, flexible filaments, carbon-fiber reinforced materials, and advanced engineering polymers may increase the overall project cost.
Our team evaluates every request individually to provide an accurate quote based on the customer’s application and material requirements.
